A Nice Day For Wa...

Today after school, I went to World Trade aka Central World Plaza. My intension was to go get an Italian Vogue magazine (L' Uomo) at Kinokuniya Bookstore which Jon happend to be on the cover. lol Well, I got it as I wished and I also got 2 extra mags - Burrrn! and Mtv trax. Burrrn! has only one color page of Jovi but I bought it anyway coz I think of it as something that I shouldn't have a chance to get my hand on since it's a Japanese magazine... And Mtv trax sucks big time , they don't even know the difference between Jon (a man) and Bon Jovi (a band - 4 men!). How in the world can they put 'Jon Bon Jovi' right there in the subject? Jon is the front man, of course, but is that make him a band? Jeez! I sooo want to have a little chat with that writer right now... I'd probably tell her to "Have A Nice Day" aka **** off or go to some place down belooooooow...

Anyway, anyway, I have to stick with the title of this blog, a nice day for me. Ok, so these are pictures from L' Uomo. Aj. Neil might recognize them since I printed them out from the internet to put in the journal before. But now I have a full-size, hard copy. lol Hmmm, I hate the last pic by the way but love the 3rd and the 4th ones.

And when I finally got home, guess what I found!! You guys wouldn't guess this right cuz I never told any of you, lol. Well, quite a while ago Jon posed for an advertisement for the Biography Channel (USA) and on their site, you could win the ad poster if you answer their survey for a certain amount. Of course, I answered their surveys and requested the poster, even though it's stated clearly in their policy that all the prizes would be shipped within the US only. And hey, they shipped it to me!! Man, my address on the parcel is like ".....Thailand, NU, 10330 USA" lol I know it's bad to trick them to send it to me, but do I feel happy right now? Yeah! It's a pretty huge poster, if I spread my arm, it's from my finger tips to my chin. Here's the pic.

And my Jovi day don't end yet... Just a moment ago, I went to a Jovi site and I found pics from the next video!!! If only you could see me bouncing on my chair... It's called Welcome To Wherever You Are. It's a nice slow song, not that great but the words are so beautiful though... I think the guys will be busking in the video btw... and some pics below as usual, Jon acts like he's sleeping or something like that. I made them delay a bit so you could catch each pic...

That's all!

Something you'll only see once

Ok, we knew our EAP Mid-term test scores this morning. To tell you the truth, it kinda make me feel bad. NOT that it's not enough, h*ll it's more than enough, but rather because it make me feel uncomfortable... I'm not used to getting such a high score. In HS, there's always a brunch of people who smarter/get higher scores than me and THAT feel good. I love it that way. I'm not saying I'm the smartest one here either, don't get me wrong! I'd never think anything like that, I'm not a snob. And I'm not one of those who like to brag when they get high scores and shut up completely when they get so-so scores either. I just shut up... If you don't ask, I'm not gonna tell you, that's that. I don't like to "stand out" or get much of attention.

now you can push me off the edge if you want...

Confused little monkey

Okie, been away for a few days, now I'm back.

My speech on Tueday was horrible, really. I talked too fast still, choked, forgot lines - all the things you can think of. But I don't expect myself to do well in this class anyway. I've never been good in Public Speaking and I don't really care if I ever will. Yet some improvement would be nice tho. lol Like you guys always say... hmm... something about that magic number "66000".

Man, today computer class was tough too! I don't know how to use Dreamweaver. And he want 10 pages + 20 pix from each and everyone of us!?!? Anyone know how to link page Two to page One?? or you just make 10 parts in that whole paper... ???

Decision is made...

Ok, ok, ok, so my speech is going to be about LAUNCHcast, Yahoo! music service that enables you to create your own music station...

I already finished with the PowerPoint presentation, well, kinda anyway, in case I dont' have to add anything more. But I haven't write my speech yet and I know this will be the hardest speech I ever write so far coz I'll have to organize it carefully since it's a Instructional Speech. There'll be a lot of 'Then', 'So', 'Before', 'After', and many other words that will be repeated constantly. Geez, I hate doing this.

Anyway, today we went to the Prabarommarubshongma (พระบรมรูปทรงม้า) to pay respect to King Rama V. The weather was ok, it rained a bit but that's alright, my shirt didn't even wet. Oh, I saw my HS marching band and some teachers too! And Ploy was kinda on a hunt... lol

Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger

Notice anything different??? I altered the code of this template a bit last night; changed the heading into a Bon Jovi pic, made the Red smirk/smilie (Joe V.) on the top left a bit bigger, and also changed the plain green background to what you see right now... what do you think? lol

Today is the day that I have to go study computer at ECC again after a pretty long break, I feel so lazy. Well, I'm lazy... This time the course is about a program called Macromedia Flash. For the first week, I've not learned anything new. Of course, there are some tricks that I just knew, but those are still just tricks... I soooo want to make animation now, not just draw circles and rectagles! Arg!

*Sign* I still don't know what to do with my speech. Any ideas anyone?? Darn, only 2 days left. I can't do craft work, I don't read, I don't cook. Internet + TV + Music = my life. Only if I could make a rocket...

Anyway, I have nothing much to post about these days, so hope to see ya all tomorrow at 6:00 am!!! xoxo

Rubnong Trip - Report from CA 4

Song Of The Day

Alter Bridge - Broken Wings

The beginning was a bit boring but I love the chorus.

Ok, the Rubnong trip was ok. It wasn't that fun but wasn't boring either.

Anyway, I already forgot what we did on the first night after the room problem was solved except playing cards. lol

So, you're gonna have to go see the details/pics on the others' blogs. I'm gonna post just the highlights I remember. :-P

Day Two

I loved the American breakfast, I don't have a chance to eat breakfast like that when I'm home for obvious reason, I have to go to school and breakfast like that just can't keep my tummy happy. in other words, I eat alot in the morning.

Then because of the rain, we went San (สัน) in the room upstairs. The weather was hot and the room was too small to fit all of us. So, later on they moved us to the beach and did some activities afterwards like Sumo (funny that Mickey could take พี่ปั้น down), Sack race, วิ่งเปรี้ยว (what is it in English?? I don't think there's a name for it though), and the traditional Superman for the guys...

And at night, we went to some room at some building to watch the seniors performances. I personally think they did a great job. P' U dance really good, the video clips were interesting, and the Miss Universe show was super funny.

Then we went to the beach again to บายศรี (I don't even know if I spell it right in Thai, so left alone its name in English) I only have a few seniors to บายศรี me cuz I don't like to kneel/sit down many many times, I kinda have a problem with my knees, besides I wasn't really drawn into the ceremony.

And the dance floor... it was interesting watching you guys danced. lol

We almost stayed up all night chatting too.

Day Three

I went on a bike ride with Pu in morning (the bike was pink btw) It was fun and exciting for me, thanks naja.

And before we left, we had a chance to took some more pics.

Other than that I don't know what else to post...

Ps. It took 6 hours to get there and 6 and a half hour to get back... almost 13 hours in total for God's sake... and on the way there, we stopped at BigC and bought bags of snack which we couldn't eat them all, my bad for keep saying we could, lmao. Oh! we went to the sea right? but somehow we couldn't get in the sea. Couldn't see any stars in the sky either.

Vo!ce

ok, today I had a meeting with the crew of Voice magazine. They told us to be there at 10:00 am, but they show up around 10:30 am... :S And for the whole meeting, Oil and I pretty much sat there and talked to each other, don't know why they needed us there.

so, we walked out around 11:30 to have our lunch. I ate chicken steak with extra potato! I LOVE potato!! lol just wanna let you know :P I really love potato...

and came along computer class... we studied MS Access. What a boring subject. This is what I would do if I'm not afraid of my head get swollen and get bigger...

I don't feel like writing today but here goes...

Yesterday I went to SCB Park, I think that's the name, to took my Work&Travel USA test. The test was divided inot two parts. In part#1, we had to match the picture in the paper to the sectence that describe the pic. Like, when there's a pic of a cat sitting on a wall, the choices would be A) a cat is sitting on a wall B) two kids are swimmimg. C) he's about to jump. D) the door is open. It was pretty much the easiest test I have ever done. And then part#2, it was on the info of this exchange program which I didn't bother to read...

I wanna go with this program, I think it'll be a good fun. But I figure going there alone would blow, I'll need someone to tell me to be easy on da $$$ anyway, lol. So if any of you would consider on going.....

Anyway, today stuff. No EAP class in the morning, Yah! lol and in the afternoon I met up with my friends to do the Voice magazine work... finished it finally.

And went shopping with Oil afterward, got one blue กางเกงเล.

Full-blown Electric

Yeah!! No more exams! Woohoo~ well, at least for the next few months

Some recap first, Pol Gov... many thanks to every single one of you who helped me with it. The questions weren't as hard as I thought they'd be, but still pretty tough. I hope those super smart/bright students won't push our grades down much, lol. I'll be happy if I get a C in this one.

And the computer exam today was horrible, who da h3ll could remember all of those stuff. He cut only few questions off the review sheet, right? I forgot to review those Excel formulars in the morning, so I pretty much guessed them all. But it was fun whispering with you all though.

Anyway, the highlight of the day is going to JJ market with Oil, Pu, Ploy, Joy and Am. We went there to buy some candles for the Rubnong event, I don't think we can call it an orientation anymore since it's been ages since school started. I ended up buying a candle in a coconut shell like Oil, but mine is smaller. Even though we saw similar yet better ones later on, but I still think that ours are cool na.

And when we were about to leave to market, Ploy stopped to buy some earrings, so I had a chance to check the record/vinyl store near the gate out. I asked the guy there if he had any Bon Jovi vinyls, and he said he didn't think so. But as stubborn as I am, I checked the vinyl stacks out anyway. And hey, I found 7800° Fahrenheit vinyl!! Another thing to add to my tiny little Jovi collection. It don't look as good as the one in the pic above though, but that's alright. Gosh, this is my first Jovi vinyl ever & it's two years older than me!

Then we went to Ploy's condo, your place is pretty neat you know? And you dad is very kind, plz tell him I say thanks na.

Cartoon for you

This is for you... I know you guys are busy reviewing your lessons cuz no one is online! So I'm gonna keep this short since pretty much no one is gonna read this anyway.

My speech today went ok I think. It was def better than the first time but I talked too fast still tho. And the Captain Jack Sparrow cartoon got quite a reaction lol

Jovi la-la Land (kinda) II

Remember the Ophra thingy I was yapping about two weeks ago?? I got to watch it today! Yippeeeee~

Kay, a fan on Backstage board (check out the link on the rigth hand side) made a copy and sent it to me, she also does this for more than 50 other people. Thanks Kay, you rock!!

OMG, my aunt watched it with me for a while, asked me questions about Jon like when they show pic of Dorothea, she aked if that was Jon's wife, how many kids they have together etc. then she went to her room.

And about 10 mins later, my brother came out. Most of you might not know this but my brother is kinda anti-Bon Jovi since I'm so into them. I thought he was gonna walk back to his room coz that's what he usually does... but he sat down on the couch and watched it with me!

My brother got to see the part that Jon went to a Northern Home in Philly to give the kids stuff; $300 worth of GAP clothes, a set of stationeries, a computer... all for each children there. Isn't he just great? lol

He also gave Ophra a $1 million cheque to support her Angel Network.

And on the show, they surprised one fan of Bon Jovi by sending Jon to her house on her family pizza night to deliver pizza! She opened the door, saw Jon, screamed and went inside. Then Jon said "Come here baby, I got your pizza" she replied "Who give a **** about pizza" and continue freaking out. lol It's pretty funny, you gotta see it for yourself.

Not that I didn't know any of this, I read about what happend on the show off the board. But it still super nice to be able to see it with my own eyes. Many thanks to you again Kay!

Now let's talk about something eles... not that I want to but I think I have to, for your sake.

I tried to read PolGov hand outs today. I think I read just two or maybe three of them. By reading it, it doesn't mean that I understand it... This subject is just above my head.

Good luck to you all...
